My 2 CentsAfter taking the time to digest the news of this big deal my overall conclusion has become very positive on the future business outlook for EXRO.
Like almost everyone else I initially took the news as a big disappointment. A let down because I thought we were on the verge of hearing some big news. How we managed to build up those expectations is really the only thing that still bothers me about the deal. However, looking forward I certainly can see the merits of the deal and in a relatively short time it could prove to be a stroke of genius. I mean really how many businesses are thriving in the EV sector these days?
As far as the financial fairness to EXRO shareholders is concerned, that issue was studied by a well educated and greatly experienced team of preffesionals. So, who am I to argue about that aspect of the deal.
Rod Copes was quoted in the original press release saying; Today marks the beginning of a significant new chapter in Exro's journey as we proactively and strategically lead the consolidation of the e-mobility sector. The Transaction secures first-mover advantage and the path to revenue is robust, backed by a strong leadership team committed to delivering to shareholders on the market opportunity."
I take him at his word and I encourage you Judith1958 to not lose faith in him. He is leading us into a brave new world!
I still believe that EXRO'S technologies are completely unique and will prove to be the disruptive technologies that help the world use energy more efficiently. I also believe that in time it will change an entire industry and with this deal the time frame to that end has been greatly reduced.
