RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:It's Tesla - Occam's razor Business 101: When GM self identifies as a leader in the EV space, and GM is the hand that feeds you, then you call them EV leader. Or whatever else they tell you to call them.
I do agree with you that GM likely came up with the language Nano uses to reference them. GM will want to brand themselves as an American global automotive EV leader. And therefore they can simply insist those partners who depend on GM shall use that language.
Dan is not stupid. If GM is the deal he has and Tesla won't work with Nano, then yes Nano will be calling GM anything they want. As they should. Can you name a single company Tesla have ever agreed to collaborate with? That is the exact wording that Nano used in my discussion with them. They've approached Tesla around 5 times over the years but Tesla does not collaborate with anybody. They either buy you out, or integrate you into their supply chain. But you need to be the size of Panasonic or CATL to get in their supply chain.
Anyways, time will tell. Currently the score is 1 to zero for me. I assume it will be 2 to zero in 3 months from now. And continue in that fashion for some time. Tesla is not the undisclosed OEM. And there is nothing wrong with that.
Let's drop the Tesla versus GM and just wait for the news to be released.
