New buzz word: AI So, in short STAR is leaving the aerospace domain to go into IT and Artificial Intelligence.
Anyhow with a possible one or two aircraft equipped with their data system, they were not a player. In comparison FLYHT is boasting their 3000 + aircraft equipped. And Airbus, Boeing have their own data capture and processing environment by now. Not to mention ‘Medevac’ for which ‘the technology is not there ‘ (dixit one of the many recent STAR CEO ) while SKYTRACK is already doing medical data transfer with STARS medical helicopter services in Alberta.
Too bad for the millions of $ invested so far.
Now opens a brand-new field to spend money: the AI!
How will a company that barely generates 5000 $ a month of revenues (not even 5000 $ of profit) can fund the new investments?
Any clue?
