Others will learn how to make it cheaper and better , USA will not be able to reach them very soon if they continue to postpone. They will not only miss EV market but will lose their sales with tthermal engines when replaced by EV.
USA thought that Telsa was the one to compete but BYD and other European , Japanese and Korean have a strategic orientation on EV and they come. Yes they can stop ByD at their border but not elsewhere.
Tesla will still be an outlier , they have the luxury EVs , for a while but no sure on the long run . They are kind of sayiing that they are not able to compter on the low end now.
End of story is that Lithium has a great future and for one time I have to tell that Quebec Gov is in the leading tier. They have a plan to have more that 20 billions $ in investments in the very close future. CRE is well positioned even though very short term it's not in its better SP days.
