No more silver by next year? Wow. That's as serious as the forecasts of 1980, when we were to run out of oil by 1987, just in time for the New Ice Age. Truly frightening when you take reserves, divide by annual production and find it's all gone in x years.
Kind of like considering the inventory of all the goods that retail stores might carry, divide by the annual sales and find that there won't be anything left to buy in a year or less. Same thing for food over the next couple of years.
But as the great philosopher Yogi Berra once said: "It's really difficult to make forecasts, especially about the future."
