RE:The show on the unmentionable bbYou can thank/blame me for coining the "do nothing" phrase. My first purchase of Fancamp was so long ago I don't remember. Well over 10 years ago. A flow through deal if i recall correctly, when I wanted the writeoff. For many years my frustration grew with nothing of any significance happening. Not much drilling, no deals with majors, just more of the same with increasingly shady sharks. Peter seemed content to accumulate properties like monopoly pieces. There may have been 100 at one point. Then he got distracted by a shiny object science project and even less drilling was happening. I suggested he needed a partner more adept at running a business as he seemed more Interested in his project and accumulating game pieces. Maybe he listened. He very nearly was raked over royally when Sheldon and pinetree got involved and his science project led to anamosities, lawsuits, and way too much distraction. CIA saved him once. He didn't pick any better next time with a guy cia steered away from and this time even cia had enough and bailed. So that's the history of the "do nothing" label which your turkey friend is fond of reminding me. He keeps bringing it up despite my point that "do nothing" is better for shareholders than "steal everything". Lesson we all learned .....Careful what you wish for. Peter didn't learn until it was too late. Great job as a geo, not so great as chairman/ceo. Still my opinion. At the opposite end of the spectrum I'd put my acquaintance Robert Friedland. He knows squat about rocks, but has a near eidetic memory, could sell a hat rack to a moose, and charm a nun out of her frock. I learned the hard way with fnc but escaped unharmed. Good luck to you.
