RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:WRN Board3 years to wait for $4 to $6 Sooner? That is about 50% over the highs after RIO bought in back in 2021. So, adding 3 years to today brings us to 2027 or about 6 years post RIO buy-in. Normal stocks (i.e. run-of-the-mill S&P 500 stocks) will roughly double in about 7 years. So, a double from 2021 would put us smack dab into your $6 range.
This of course begs the question: if you feel WRN is so "normal" why are you so heavily invested in it? If mediocrity is your goal, trust me, you will do much better in an index fund where there is at least no company-specific risks involved.
My hunch is that you are not after mediocrity, but rather you want a multi-bagger return. Your frustration in the length of time it has taken to reach the terminal point (buyout) causes you to express a "buyout at any reasonable price now" opinion. I remind those who get impatient that there are plenty of juniors out there who are on different points on the Lassonde Curve and that you should target various juniors so that you don't get stuck one or two which are moving at a slower pace that you would prefer.
PS 15 years is not that long of a timeframe for a monumental shift in our monetary system to occur. If you are not aware of where the de-dollarization trends are taking us, I would encourage you to do some independent research. You are in the correct investment, but you fail to fully appreciate why it is the correct investment, hence your apathy towards the future value of gold and silver.
