Was the release positive or not?
I am going to love to hear Q's explanation for this one.
G,
I made it clear that I am trying to avoid directly commeting on price movements, especially over small periods of time.
Day over day, week over week and year over year prices change. This is largely has to do with news and the level of interest a sector and stock can generate within the market. At times the market will price shares in a company extremely high, other times they can be extremely low.
The onus is on the individual investor to determine if a stock is either high or low based on their assessment of the company then to either opt to trade or not.
Companies such as Apple, Amazon, Tesla, even Microsoft seen their shares trade well under their fundamentals and presented opportunities to investors who picked up on the opportunity and opted to start a position, even a small one. The time these investments took to pay off big time required extended hold times.
Before you play in the market it is best to know your own habits. If you are impatient and do not like to research then your odds of making a winning trade is limited. If you have patience and research everything you can with an eye for the future potential of a sector / stock then your odds increase.
It's your money, your trade, your decisions. I suggest you trust in yourself with only the dollars you can afford to tie up for extended timelines and (worse case) lose.
I am not here to do your research for you, that is literally your job as an investor.
Best Regards
Q
