RE:The bonds settlement: A real victoryThe US is a litigious society. They would have have dragged this on to whatever years it would take to get something. If this was a small immaterial cash settlement? Then it is sensible for them to get rid of the lawsuit, even if it cost a bit extra.

The settlement is not material to the Company’s financial results or consolidated cash position.

I'm not a lawyer but I gave some merit to the plaintiffs; the moves done by Bombardier by issuing more notes to drown the plaintiffs votes was a daring maneuver in my mind at the limits of the honest game. I was not sure of the results of the lawsuit.

The sky is clear.....and blue.  No clouds.
