HPQ Silicon Inc V.HPQ

Alternate Symbol(s):  HPQFF

HPQ Silicon Inc. (HPQ) is a Canada-based technology company specializing in green engineering of silica and silicon-based materials. The Company is engaged in developing, with the support of technology partners PyroGenesis Canada Inc. (PyroGenesis) and Novacium SAS, new green processes to make the critical materials needed to reach net zero emissions. Its activities are centered around the three pillars: becoming a green low-cost (Capex and Opex) manufacturer of Fumed Silica using the Fumed Silica Reactor, a proprietary technology owned by HPQ being developed for HPQ by PyroGenesis; becoming a producer of silicon-based anode materials for battery applications with the assistance of Novacium SAS, and Novacium SAS is engaged in developing a low carbon, chemical base on demand and high-pressure autonomous hydrogen production system. The Company operates in a single operating segment, segment, being the sector of the transformation of quartz into silicon materials and derivative products.

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:New interview - Beyond the AGMSome great posts from ceo:

@SomaTrin also regardless, pilot plant being operational, potential buyouts/offtake agreements soon, monetization starting, and this is only one of the pedestals.. the others starting next year.. the climb will commence shortly and what a beauty it will be!

@Topseeker @SomaTrin .... Agreed. The climb will be incredible in the next 12-18 months. Certainly the returns for Shareholders, IMO, will far surpass any true savings annual interest rates for the hardened, conservative investors. And whatever that interest rate is, it's fully taxable while we are subject to the capital tax gain rate. All good for the patient HPQ Longs. Best wishes to All, Sincerely, Topseeker. P.S. Happy Canada Day to All, and enjoy this special day with family, and friends.

@BCONTVentures Labscale to pilot plant is very difficult. If pilot plant is successful (which they are very confident) commercial plant (scale) is using same template with exact engineering specs, etc. (much easier to do).
Basically pilot scale success means the template is done. And from this success full confidence decision to move forward. They are not going to green light and spend $25 million per reactor to see if they can figure something out post decision of moving forward . It’s already figured out from pilot plant with high level of confidence. (Keep in mind that a lot of the work PYR and HPQ did scaling up the QRR greatly benefits the development/course of the Fumed Silica Reactor development).

@BCONTVentures Also in the last interview Bernard said, HPQ Polvere will be bought out long before they go into commercial production. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lf2OEokQknk+ At the 27:18 mark in the interview, regarding Fumed Silica/the Fumed Silica Reactor, Bernard predicts a buyout for HPQ Silica Polvere Inc./Fumed Silica.

@pennytodollar I definitely recommend people read the document highlighting the benefits of FSR. Unlike torches or powder which are in the process of validation by end users - the fsr process has been validated with produced material in house. Yes there is one more step of making sure it works to a similar degree of efficiency in a 1000tpy unit - but if it does, then there really is no way for the industry to not pay us to make it, or pay us for the license to make it. It is a different ballgame than torches or powder (for now at least) based on the simple fact that PYR and HPQ could undercut the market significantly themselves if no one wants to play ball (so long as tech holds at 1000tpy)
