RexRex this is the reality right now...the reason Bne or ygr or any other company can get land quite cheap into new plays is more drilling opportunities exist than capital..technology has really unlocked the amount of drilling locations in Alberta. Lots of these experts keep saying Alberta has ability to double production and maybe these insiders know that.
manufcuring style pad drilling makes many plays viable in Alberta.

Lots of untapped sagd projects that cardinal can tackle...any company seems able to get into new things or opportunities fairly cheap..a sign of health of industry.

I think natural gas side is gaining most from technology improvements on service side.
Making wells last long and produce much more than just the first year on ng side.

If they can close the deal here in July, that fiddlehead resources got Cenovus stuff fairly cheap.

doesn't seem to be much loose cash in the industry
