D&A testing done only when heavy equip. collidedThis is all for entertainment only, has no real basis, and does not reflect on anyones reality.
It does not comment on any real events or people or refer to anyone now in existance or passed. No opinion is presented or implied.
So for your entertainment and amusement only The HLPF says leave this is no longer an env or HLP issue. Sorry but I can't imagine anyone wanting to be invloved or anywhere near this. Life is short, the outcome of this might be criminal in nature and that a lot of investors got sucked down the rabbit hole. Even if any of this is all fabrication and lies who wants to be near this... Env. or HLP failure is one thing the alleged drug and alcohol useage with knowlege by management is a another.
The real problem now is the alleged illegal activity on site (cocaine useage on site, liquor useage, drugs in camp)
Now what will come into play is an investtigation of the site and management will be queried for what they knew. If this is true there may be reasons to charge manangement.
"Conduct that puts at risk the health or safety of others, including simple possession associated with impairment from substance use while preparing to drive, being responsible for supervision of a person driving, or driving a motor vehicle, operating machinery, possession of a weapon, or performing an activity posing a risk to public health or safety;"

If the allegations are proven to be true made by Safety and mine personnel, the mine is still a technical problem but the current situation will also swing collection of statements from all people from super,mm, safety to CEO (and anyone in a position of power and responsibility) to ascertain what they knew and what they allowed.
Heavy equipment colliding? What was going on up there (demolition derby). Drug and alcohol use? "While drinking alcohol is prohibited at Eagle, one of the operators and the safety worker said drinking and drug use were tolerated."
“In the garbage can I saw a whole bunch of beer cans and bottles and a couple bottles of whiskey at the camp by the incinerator,” the operator said. “You’re not allowed to have booze there. It’s a dry camp.”
Drug-testing only happened if there were metal-on-metal accidents involving machinery colliding with other machines, the safety department member said. Bags and clothing weren’t checked when staff came onto the site, and there were no further investigations after housekeepers gave security staff drug paraphernalia they found in the camp buildings.
“Unless they were caught and tested, it was basically open range,” the former safety worker said. “A cocaine-addicted man came to me and said, ‘This is Disneyland for an addict like me.’ We just turned a blind eye to it because nobody wanted to dig into the deeper problem of how to control it.”
Seriously? What the hell has the workplace gone crazi. Get the Super and Bell Jet Ranger grab the offenders, charge em and ship em out. it's really not hard to understand. What the hell happened, on top of everything else there are now going to visions of impaired operators having a demolition derby on the HLP while rollin big fatties..
Workplace Impairment
"Random testing of employees in safety-sensitive positions may be permissible in the following limited circumstances: where the employer is able to show that there is a demonstrated alcohol or drug abuse problem amongst employees in safety-sensitive positions in the workplace and testing is a proportionate response (in other words when potential safety benefits outweigh potential intrusion into employee privacy) and when the employer still meets its duty to accommodate employees who test positive."
Apparenlly it's legal to do pot for medical purpose. Who's running that show?
Ccocaine addicted employees OMG Where were the gatekeepers?
