Bombardier ne venait plus a
Farnborough depuis 2019, ni au Salon du Bourget, parce qu’elle n’avait plus d’avions commerciaux a vendre. L’entreprise a plutot decide de concentrer ses efforts de representation dans les salons specialises d’aviation d’affaires, plus proches de son marche.

Mais le developpement d’une version militaire du Global 6500, qui peut se transformer en avion de surveillance et de lutte anti-sous-marine, et surtout l’ambition qu’affiche Eric Martel, PDG de Bombardier, de developper ce nouveau secteur d’activite ont donc amene le constructeur montrealais de jets d’affaires a revenir a Farnborough.
