RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Balancing out SectorsI'm aware of what you're saying.

It's not that easy to pack up and go from Ireland. When Bombardier bought Shorts from the Irish, and operated the plant for 30 years. Bombardier could have or may have gotten into numerous contracts & commitments with the Govt of Ireland & the Shorts Bros unions. Example. One consent may have been to get money from the Irish Govt. Could have been cash incentives from them, such as Tax reductions. All those Agreements were forwarded to Sprint on the Sale 3 years ago to Sprint. Including Pensions. Now they're going to take those commitments back, so we have to honor them. The devil is in the details of those contracts.

Lawsuits wouldn't involve us.  Spirit has the contract to supply wings, etc to BBD at a set price for a set time.  Spirit has the pension liabilities, the union contracts, the plants, etc, nothing to do with BBD.  In simple terms the buyer of a Global 7500 doesn't have liabilities with BBD unions and pension liabilities either.

All I am saying is BBD might have plenty of time to build a new factory in a LCOL non union area, hire brand new workers and leave Belfast for someone else
