Based upon my research, this should be one of the few projects in the country that can realistically take advantage of that credit and this should be approved. That would be $20 million at the bottom end. He said as much as 5 times that on the top end potentially. He also said that the credit is transferrable and can be monetized. I assume that means it can be sold, which is a novel idea to me.
This is VERY interesting and devloping. As much a $100 million of the Florence build out could be subsidized by the US Government because it is a domestic production of a critical mineral.
