Why are there holes 9A and 9B?If a hole has to be abandoned for reasons other than excessive water flow the drill is moved a little bit and another hole is collared close to the first one. The first attempt became 9A. The second attempt became 9B. A third attempt will probably be 9C.
I'm guessing the fault gouge proved impenetrable to the diamond drill. The RC drill will be needed to grind a hole through it. Further details pending ...
