The 'senior people' at the mine should have done a much better job of preparation, and most of these costly oversights could have been avoided.
The 'ore body' has not been mined primarily because it is unprofitable in it's current condition with current technologies. Hundreds of millions of dollars have been spent attempting to mine the resource, but it was never shown to be profitable.
If the ore body is truly viable, then someone will complete a due diligence study and pay big bucks to purchase and put into production.
We'll see what the bids and the buyers actions show about this property's value. And that ultimate value will not be determined by the opinions of those on this board, or of 'senior people' at the mine who've already failed.
