USGD Reports Assays From First of Three Holes at Madison Today, American Pacific Mining (USGD.c USGDF) has reported assay results from the first three holes of its seven-hole Phase I drill program at the Madison Copper-Gold Project in Montana.
Aiming to extend mineralization near historical mine workings and demonstrating significant copper and gold mineralization beyond previously mined areas, highlights include:
- Hole APMMAD24-02: 38.25 meters of 1.28% Cu and 1.22 g/t Au (2.34% Cu equivalent), including 7.86 meters of 2.08% Cu and 2.43 g/t Au.
- Hole APMMAD24-05: 32.71 meters of 3.15 g/t Au, including 7.32 meters of 9.90 g/t Au, and 45.45 meters of 0.96% Cu.
- Hole APMMAD24-01: 17.04 meters of 1.04 g/t Au within 32 meters at 0.76 g/t Au, along with 0.43% Cu over 17.37 meters.
These results highlight broader-than-expected intervals of mineralization, suggesting potential for significant mineralization left behind by historical mining operations.
As this phase of drilling is now complete, going forward USGD has further exploration planned in Phase II, focusing on expanding westward and at depth, where targets remain open and untested.
