soldI only had a small position but I got out and I did nicely. I will always have a soft spot for FVL, but
1) market cap/ oz presented in their presentation is about $20/oz. I know they are finding more oz and 20/oz is on low side, but I think this is where we are now and I am not the only one selling.
2) I don't see why a buy-out would be happening in the near furture. "Better to buy a great asset at a fair price than a fair asset at a great price" to paraphrase Buffet. (Again, ES would not sully his rep by buying while he has inside info on a sale). 3) Sept is bad month for POG
(according to Bloomberg; I haven't checked with Nostradamus). 4) the rise from 0.43 to over a buck was not based on anything very concrete. If you look at the 6 month chart carefully, the share price took off some time after news about metallurgy and before the drill results. The SP rise has been propelled by the madness of crowds. FVL may have been under-valued at 0.43 but it is more fairly valued now. So, I wish FVL shareholders the best and I may rejoin if there is a pullback. Y'all have a good laugh if I am wrong! Good luck.
