RE:Post from yahoo

If this is so, than something is not rght,
If I have 1000 shares of TRP, current value, $ 63.00 PS, = $ 63,000, and SP decline by 20% by October 2nd, I will have $ 50,400 or $ 50.40. PS (TRP)
If I am getting 200 shares from spin off at $ 30.00 CDN, that equals $ 6,000 (SOBO)
This means that combined shares value is $ 56,400 both entities combined,
So, it appears I would of,  being better off seling it now, and repurchasing later after spin off, providing some calculations are accurate, or being close to accurate, ????
Any one else see it disway, will we be better off after spin off or not???
