Not a takeout but a merger?

Not a takeout but a merger?
I don't think a full on takeout is imminent, but I think the possibility of a merger with the likes of Avicanna certainly appears more probable with this news.  At one point I would have expected that around now, we would have been gobbled up by a big(ger) player because we would have shown the parabolic growth by now, but since that didn't happen, nobody is going to bother because Medipharm really has nothing of real value.

So what will put a spring in Pidduck's step and meet his appetite for his M&A fascination?  A merger of equals.  And then it gives him runway to focus on that and not worry about topline for a least a year or two while he finds his new sales guy.
