In the meantime from a total return perspective, the SP since I posted my thoughts 7 days ago is down 12.6%. The last time I checked, that number is greater than the divy yield for the whole year.
Plus don't cry for me Argentina (to quote the song). I am not waiting idly by "waiting" for the price of SPB to go down, I am making money elsewhere and when the signs are clear that all the bloodletting is done with SPB I will swoop in and make some money on it.
If you think someone will buy SPB (like Brookfield), you might be right but I wouldn't count necessarily on making a bundle on that - just ask people who owned IPL how that worked out for them.
