Keats Trench Grades47 auriferous intercepts , ( excluding " Including" as those are included unddr Hole ID and " AND" ) representing 228 meters out of 1782 meters sampled for a concentration index of 14.6 %.
Average grade of these auriferous intercepts was 31 grams per ton.
Including 1554 meters which were not auriferous, the average grade was 0.83 grams per ton.
In my previous analyses for Keats Main......entirely widely spaced exploration drilling compared with the systematic and closely spaced KT transect lines .....the concentration index was just 3.4 % and the average grade , all assays included including dusters, was 0.67 grams per ton.
This confirms my posit that exploration drilling, which are typically searching drill holes, will significantly under estimate the concentration index ( % of holes drilled that are aureiferous ) , especially when compared with within optimized pit concentration index, and will include a disproportionate percentage of dusters when compared with
FS results.
Of course , that is to be expected as a matter of logic.
Also, it demonstrates that , when properly conducted ,there is a proclivity for exploration grades to under estimate within pit FS grades .
Finally, with respect to Napkin Math for QWN, it will substantively under estimate gold resources when searching distance is restricted 100 m .
