Shallow Ounces Beneath Keats TrenchAssuming management are correct that drill grades just benath KT are consistent with those of the KT channel samples , a simple estimate of the number of shallow ounces to a depth of just 50 meters can be calculated from the KT grade and concentration index metrics ( 31 grams per ton and 14.6 % concentration index ) posted this AM.
We have KT at 200 m by 70 m wide to a depth of 50 m = 700,000 cu meters.
SG is 2.8 tons per cu meter which computes to 1.96 million tons of which 14.6 % will be auriferous at an average grade of 31 grams per ton( 1 ounce per ton ).
So, we have 1,960,000 tons X .146 = 286,000 tons @ 1 oz per ton = 286,000 ounces.
Divide by 2 to be conservative , and the analyses shows that about 140,000 ounces of high grade gold could be produced by skimming off the top 50 meters of KT.
Recovered value would be about $500 million CAD of which at 60 % net margin would yield $300 million in free unencumberd cash flows to build a mine when combined with similar mining of Icceberg Trench and the smaller trences to be stripped in 2025.
Managements internal estimates are far more statistically confident than those coarsely extracted in my analyses.
If thier posit is correct that what lays below KT is similar to that of channel sampling of KT, what are they waiting for while we get diluted to death with cheap shares that play directly into the hands of shorters that have devastated our investment here..
