MGX vs WHY

MGX vs WHYMGX
43% grade
8 million tonnes  ( final MgO )
Magnesite ( MgCO3 )
Road accessible
Rail nearby
2 km potential strike ( additional resources )
Water close proximity
Close to towns / milling / labor / power

HEAD GRADE
MgO       43.27%
CaO       1%
Ai203     1%
SiO2      4.88%
Fe203    1.34%
LOI         47.92%  ( loss of oxides burned off during firing ) most likrly CO2 oxides

Not calcining ( firing ) saves furnace costs
Using chemical mineral swap effectively eliminates CO2 emissions ( chem CO2 sequester )

Total Mined
27 million tonnes
x 47.92 %  CO2 chem removal using lime
= 12,938,400 million tonnes
- 8.13% impurities
= 10,518,919 million tonnes ( MgO ) based on removing Co2 seq and impurities )

2.5 million tonne MgO buffer ?   lol

B93 Magnesium Alloy allots for ( x,y,z impurities )
Aluminum is added to make B93
Therefore 1% Aluminum in Driftwood could act the = credit payable

Aluminum potential Credit ( if electrolysis was implemented for Mg + Al )
27 million tonnes
x 1%
= 270,000 tonnes  ( metal @ $2200 tonnes )  electrolysis
x 2200
= $ 594 million  more than pays for cost of project ( if sep as metal credit )

WHY
M&I resource of 43 Mt ore at 24.6%  ( nowhere near mgx's grade )
No road
Serpentine ores ( most serp ores contain chrysolite / asbestos )
Maybe readon why project still sits undeveloped

Flow sheet mine process 4th page from last
Has several processes making it more challenging extracting several, products

Missing Link ?
Collaboration with USA
When was the last time Canada and US teamed on a new project,
other than, Quebec Graphite juniors ?

US Magnesium = Produces Metal
https://usmagnesium.com/about-us-mag/

Of interest ?
Nano Magnesium = $725 usd  kg
61,250 ( india to usd )

What took the sails out of, Driftwood ?
Engineering report with $100 million cost furnance ( bloated )
BC hydro didn't like offering electricity to silica plant ( yet another furnance )

In my opinion,
Driftwood should see another mine review.
Simple Lime swap to achieve Magnesium hydroxide
Then electrolysis = Mg metal

Yes.... fallout with zinc air battery but...
Could the juniors ever collaborate and use the zinc air battery with solar to avert
BC hydro ...?

Or... i could offer a few new ideas on a diff zinc air battery format.
Bypass former tech.

Wouldn't take that much $$$ to perform a simple test using Calcium lime on
Driftwood Magnesite ores. With electrolysis to achieve Mg metal.

Best part...
Lime cost of $50/T could be converted to higher value credit with CO2 seq.

I have performed a tad more research on - Aircrete
Great lightweight product BUT.... there's room for improvement.

One could simply sell the CaCO3 out the door....
But... if one improved the Aircretewith more tendile strength and psi compression
= they'd have a winner.

Silica Sand
Silica rock - gravel
= standard additive which increases strength of - concrete / cement

Binders are also used.
Glues and fibers

Yet... research has shown even fibers ( glass ) the fribil don't bond to the concrete.
Fiber concrete formula  does strengthen it - harder to break - but still no lattice bond

Where i think aircrete could improve ?
Providing an inner skeleton of supprt that strengthen the psi compression

Block mold
Inner skeleton
Pour airecrete
= stronger construct - still lightweight

Skeletons
Verticle tubes ( polypropylene ( cement does adhere ) verticle highest strength

Glass or Plastic ( hardened ) mesh fibers allowing aircrere to cure all around
https://s.alicdn.com/@sc04/kf/Hb577ed67014e4ed981fe0b613ab526318.jpg_720x720q50.jpg

You get the idea.... types of inner skeletons

Now before one speaks out - polypropylene and concrete lime ?
Corrosion ?

Let's pull forward ICF foundation systems
Furling ( brace ) is used to build the styro form. ( furling = polypropylene )

Concrete can stick to high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic, but other forms of plastic, such as siliconized or rubberized plastic, do not allow adhesion.Jan 30, 2024

ICF walls consist of a core of steel-reinforced concrete—usually six or eight inches thick— sandwiched between two EPS foam panels, typically 2 ½ inches per side. Embedded just below the foam surface on each face are polypropylene furring strips for attaching finishes. (A few brands use light-gauge steel.)Jul 18, 2017

What would a new PEA reveal for Drifteood ?
Chem swap using Ca Lime
Mg hydroxide electrolysis  ( no furnace )
Mg Metal
CaCo3 bonus credit ( sold as food grade or.... high tech airecrete ? )

Cheers....

Will Andris ever have the compassion to respark,MGX ?
How about Jared ? Or is he too busy trying to amass gold oz's in a concentrate ??? lol
Concentrate ?

How's those blue, green and yellow ores @ Bishop ?
Isn't Zimtu into same colors ?
