RE:Nuttall: VRN has an 18% FCF yield, #1 in Canada

RE:Nuttall: VRN has an 18% FCF yield, #1 in Canadaagree or don't with Eric, but he did make a couple of key points for the short term outlook to Veren (potential tax loss selling and/or Trump effect not withstanding)...the biggest one was the under-performance of some of their newest wells due to a change in drilling equipment technology that was suppossed to save money. Instead it cost them DEARLY with a miss on expected production causing a 15-20% initial sell-off that VRN has barely recovered from. Eric said his geologist reviewed the data and it "appears" that its only the equipment AND NOT THE GROUND so its temporary - Eric finished with "we will know early next year" with new well results . He's staying for now but will bail if management fails to resolve the issues...makes total sense to me so i will wait to hear the outcome...dwdc
