There may be more shareholders out west but 4-5 times as many? And would 4-5 times as many actually show up for a business as usual AGM? I’m bringing this up because the meeting location piqued my interest;
-I Would think Vancouver as more accessible to more people.
-The LME law firm, Miller Thomson, have an office in Vancouver that has meeting spaces for their use like they did in Toronto last year.
-At a marina after years of lawyers offices and the directors own homes seems a step or two away from frugality
Annual and Special Meeting of shareholders (the "Meeting") will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at 12:00 PM (Pacific Time) in the Ocean Room at the Victoria International Marina
So I looked up the the Ocean Room
Facilities are available at Victoria International Marina, and include:
Oceanfront Event Space – Referenced also as our Exclusive Reception Lounge, the Oceanfront Event Space transforms into a “room-of-its-own” in which to host a private event. The setting of the room, with views of the natural beauty of the west coast, is the perfect backdrop for any event sure to impress the most discerning guest. All will enjoy breathtaking southeast views through two-storey canted windows. The space can accommodate 100 guests for a sit-down function or 200 for a stand-up reception
Perhaps this is set up for a final celebration. It certainly seems a little more upbeat with Hotel group rates and an ocean view room with space for 100-200.
1-200 with either champagne glasses or with torches and pitchforks screaming for regime change ;o). Either way they appear to anticipate a large turnout
