RE:RE:RE:SurprisedWell Henrye, Santa might elude me on my way to Belize for the next two months but I have no complaints as '24 has been a FABULOUS year!
Banks, energy, pipelines etc etc have been unbelievable.  There are duds of course (telcos) but hey, that comes with the territory.
Some of us might feel burdened by taxes but I have no qualms paying my fair share, for the services obtained.  Just two peeves: stop the waste and cut the cute gimmickry trying to buy our votes with our own money. 

Came to Canada six decades ago as a grad student at McGill after studying in Cambridge for my undergrad years.  Best choice ever. Sure beats being shipped overseas to go kill some innocent villagers who had done me no harm.  Canada has been great place to raise a family and it is now time to enjoy.
A very merry Xmas etc to everyone here and the best in the new year.
