RE: on the way upDid anyone hear how the meeting in Houston went last week? Just wishful thinking here but it would make sense that that would have been the final touches on the Halliburton operating agreement. Hopefully BPR did not screw its negotiating posture too much by putting out that earlier press release saying Halliburton was named the operator.
I am assuming that the detailed terms with Halliburton have not been worked out yet, or otherwise it would seem that BPR would have been required to disclose such terms upon their becoming fixed. Wondering what other folks think about this. If it turns out that material info has been witheld from the public, do you think we have the basis for a lawsuit?
And now lets look at the other possibility. Maybe BPR had not yet worked out the details of its arrangement with Halliburton at the time they put out that earlier release. If that is the case, then BPR management made a huge mistake IMO by naming Halliburton the operator. Why would a company commit to naming someone as the operator of its prize project without having first ironed out all of the material terms of this arrangement?
This is the reason I have been selling and will continue to sell once the news comes out.
