RE: Coincidence?gobbly, I agrre that the boulder layers are put there by water, I just don't think it has anything to do with glaciers. here is what Mosher said in his second report
'Overburden thickness in the 16 holes drilled range between 67 and 98 meters
and average 77 meters. Overburden is comprised of tan-colored loess (winddeposited
dust), with lenses of gravels and pebbles as well as layers of white
and reddish clay. Exposures of loess and interbedded gravels in the walls of the
Arroyo las Magdalenas that passes through the property between the E1 South
and North anomalies indicates that the gravels are probably of fluvial origin and
are of limited distribution both laterally and vertically.'
Note that he says fluvial, not glacio-fluvial. The only point being that I don't think that a lot of stuff has been scaped off by glaciers
