Random Comments'I still am not impressed by the corporate behavior of PLY. The conclusions they have jumped to (and announced) are simply not true and are very promotional.'
Do you know for sure that the conclusions 'simply are not true'? If so how do you know? You haven't (by your own grudging admission) seen any assays or analyses so what basis do you have for your opinion. btw it still is (IMO) your opinion and not a fact as you present it. I do not think that PLY have been 'very promotional', they can do a much better job if they set out to be promotional.
'What will be remembered from all of this? That PLY wildly promoted an anomaly generated by contamination and pissed away a lot of investors money.'
No, I don't think so. Exploration is a high risk game. If there is even a small chance that the anomaly is real then PLY is not treating its shareholders properly if it doesn't check it out thoroughly. PLY also have not hidden from the contamination issue, but have confronted it. See Mosher's first report (perhaps you have had time to read it by now) or call the company and ask them. I have done both and suggest that you could get some insights by doing so.
'Do you think those investors are going to come back to the exploration industry again with their money? Not bloody likely.'
Of course they will. Many of the people who put money in the company treasury ( that is the ones who participated in the financing rather than the ones in the secondary market who just bought from other investors and put nothing in the company treasury) made money, or at least made their cash back by selling the stock at 20 cents and getting a free ride on the warrants. Of course they will do it again. If I were employed in the exploration industry I would only fear for my job if I didn't understand the real world.
'The industry needs another discovery (enough of diamonds in Canada already) and it doesn't matter where or who, and if under covered ground all the better.'
Yes, that's exactly what the industry needs and it doesn't matter where or who or even if it is diamonds in Canada. In fact I think that Canadian Diamond exploration really has the potential to be that Next big discovery.
