kiss my A$$ Debeers.... buh byenow we can move in the right direction...... =========================================================================== Re: News Release - Wednesday, August 07, 2002 Discussions Ended with De Beers Canada Exploration =========================================================================== Mr. Glen Alston, President of Rhonda Corporation announces that the Company has ended discussions with De Beers Canada Exploration Inc. regarding the Knife property without agreement being reached. Rhonda has been in discussions with De Beers on negotiating an option and joint venture agreement since April 2000 relating to the right to explore and develop Rhonda's Knife property consisting of one claim. Rhonda's management considers that the discussions have not moved forward in a reasonable and timely manner and that in the best interest of the shareholders they should be ended. The Knife property contains the Knife kimberlite pipe, discovered in May 2000. De Beers drilled three holes into the pipe in June 2000 at which time it was found to be significantly diamondiferous. A further 6 holes were drilled by De Beers in May 2001. Rhonda has not reviewed the results of these holes. As previously announced last week, Rhonda has reached an agreement with Teck Cominco Limited on an option and joint venture to explore and develop Rhonda's Inulik claims adjacent to the Knife property.
