RE: Presentation notes

RE: Presentation notesHello labtechnician. Thanks for the comments. Your comments from a few days ago helped me clear up the issue on chromite and the absence of it when compared to Merensky. Good thing it's absent at Ferguson Lake, since it's actually problematic for the South Africans. I'm glad if people correct my notes, since if there are errors, they're MY errors, not Ballantyne's. The 3/8ths inch core ended up as very, very small pieces of material... smaller than your pinky nail. This was the mesh material. The Pt/Pd were recovered in flotation. It's interesting that in your notes you say 20% rejection, yet 88% was rejected at Vail... why the difference? LOW SULPHIDE would be my guess, after all that's the material they tested. My notes are more general in nature because I'm not a geo. While I appreciate comments and corrections to further understand, I'm not writing an exam on dense media separation. If you have a beef, round up some courage and call Ballantyne. I look forward to your response... try to be more succinct, all that reading can be confusing! (half kidding) Cheers. FJD
