update

updategiven that several days have gone by and some direction may be emerging from the ovacik situation i called both the company and a well informed brokerage house yessterday to get an update on proceedings. here goes the background of this problem goes back 3 years and newmont has been operating under a temporary permit that the minister of health granted them to do with the use of cyanide there has always been a chance that the court would challange this permitt but newmont is using the cyanide in a closed sysstem that does not allow it to contaminate the environmet the case is actually aginst the ministry of health and of course newmont will bring all documents and plans to show the court how safe this system is to the environment.apparently newmont also has at their plant another chemical that renders the cyanide inert.so in summary newmont is totally resposible for defending their actions with no cost to frp and in the mean time frp receives the cash flow from the mine as previously sated from the 1st of july until they complete the deal. management tells me that they are proceeding with financial and all other paper work as though this deal will close on the 15 of aug. to the point that they are working this weekend the brokerage house said they could see no more than a months delay in the closing date but as i just said if frp is collecting the cash and profit while the court proceedings are going on this in no way jepordidzes their integrity as a company in fact give me a deal like this every week and ill take it.this is probably the best thing that could have happened to frp the timeing of this road bump before closing it will take away any doubts bankers and investors have about the deal also the federal govt of turkey has taken away the vat from gold mining a sure sign that they are in favor of gold mining remember the market cap of eld all 760,000,000 of it is based on their gold in turkey also remember fully dilted after the new finaancing etc frp market cap at todays prices will be less that 60,000,000 with a profit of close to that number see previous posts so sleep well if the hot weather allows you buy the stock and tell your friends because in 30 some years of investing i believe the risk is as low as ive ever seen and the reward will be in the 3 to 4 hundred percent range possibilty higher as there will undoudably be other deals with the synergies between nem and frp.
