History tidbit on Homestake/Inco & FLSomeone mentioned a while ago that Homestake lost interest in Ferguson Lake after finding platinum and palladium in 1981 and staking 5 mineral claims around Inco's mining lease. Well, Homestake, with Inco's permission, conducted surface geological mapping and collected rock and soil samples for Pt and Pd assays. After this, Homestake actually tried to form a JV with Inco but was **refused**, and the property stayed dormant. Deeg88
