SCS Solars Computing Systems Inc. General Update
WEST VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--
TourTek
Currently there are six contracted clients for the Service Bureau
with 15 more under negotiations and we are receiving inquiries on
a daily basis. The recent acquisition of Accovia U.S.A. (now
Solars U.S.A.Inc) brings 30+ new clients all of whom are looking
at the TourTek Service Bureau to give them on-line booking
capability and vastly improve their functionality. According to
Andrew McBarnett CEO of Caribbience "I looked at all systems and
found TourTek to have the greatest functionality and most
cost-effective business model available. I believe the TourTek
Service Bureau will be the industry standard".
All contracted clients will be fully implemented by year-end
resulting in significant increase in revenue.
Implementation time for TourTek clients can take several months
due to the necessity of operating parallel systems for common
sense security reasons.
There are literarily thousands of tour operators using legacy
software that are potential clients for TourTek.
SolarNet
SolarNet currently has 25 consolidators utilizing our
distribution outlets. Once the Openfares interface is fully
implemented we anticipate significant growth in our client base.
Only one consolidator is live on Sabre Rate Manager (SRM) with 6
clients waiting for the completion of the Openfares API.
Re-seller agreements/SolarNet/TourTek
As previously announced there is three agreements in place with
companies who provide desktop air content to travel agents. SCS
also recently completed a sale of a TourTek system to a Hotel
software provider.
Centralization
The company has completed its plan for centralization of all
distribution and technology.
SCS moved into new offices in Markham Ontario where all TourTek
and SolarNet technology will reside. We have closed our Vancouver
office and re-located to West Vancouver. This results in
significant savings and greatly increases our efficiencies.
The Future
Our drive over the next two months is to bring the company to
break-even. In order to attain this we need to drive the
implementation of our existing contracted clients to live status.
Once this goal has been achieved we will begin a significant
marketing campaign in conjunction with third party re-sellers for
TourTek and SolarNet products as well as adding new product
lines.
Travel Industry
The travel industry has suffered several setbacks over the last
two years but is now in recovery. SCS finds itself at the leading
edge of travel technology with a huge market potential and very
limited competition.
The transition from flat monthly fees to a transaction-based
model is now a starting to show real progress and 2004 is shaping
up to be a major break through for Solars.
