NCM in centre or activity-NWBC< Below is an excerpt from Firesteels NR . NCM's Target claims are attached and more than twice the size on the Poker claims - Similar high grade showings and choice pick of the area- currently undergoing airborne survey - This camp could be extremely active come Spring- NCM has 100% with NSR to Viceroy - property chosen by Viceroy execs but transferred to NCM when Gold was under US$ 300 >
A program of prospecting and rock sampling is planned for the Poker property -- located 25 kilometres west of Telegraph Creek. Cominco previously discovered 36 gold-bearing quartz-sulphide boulders in this area. The average gold value of these boulders is 24.3 grams per tonne (g/t). The highest gold value was 252.16 g/t, while 10 high-grade boulders averaged 76.37 g/t gold. These boulders are up to two metres in diameter. The mineralized boulder train was traced one kilometre upslope from the boulder field. Since the last work was done in 1990, the Limpoke Glacier has receded 400 metres, exposing a large area of bedrock that has not been explored. Two of the boulder grab samples from this recently exposed area returned spectacular results of 40.99 g/t and 45.56 g/t. These high-grade samples were collected from the base of a scree slope, which is 50 metres below a moderately steep cliff. This bedrock area will be the primary focus of the 2005 exploration program. The target at Poker is a high-grade shear-vein gold deposit of the Snip mine type.
