Reasons for buy and sell

Reasons for buy and sellRemember, there are many reasons for anyone to sell that are not related to the stock/investment, but just related to their personal situation (e.g. need cash to buy a new house). But there is only ONE reason to buy a stock--because you think it is undervalued and is going up. That's why insider sells are not as big an indicator as insider buys. The stockmarket gifts of this past week were the AlarmForce buying opportunity to get in, and the Vincor opportunity to get out with an instant 50% gain (VN fundamentals have been bad for awhile, there were lots of retail investors in this one who didn't realize they should have gotten out and watched it go down instead). $4-$4.50 is still a good entry point for AF, so if anyone has missed out, then can probably still get some this week. Once it gets to $4.50, I would not buy or sell, but just wait for the next quarterly earnings. BUT when the earnings come out--DO NOT look at EPS, just look at cash flow and the number of customers/subscribers. With the current growth rate, I would value AF at 8-10x cash flow. Who knows what each customer is worth, $3000? No reason why AF stock price can't close at $5 this year, and increase 20% each year for the next number of years. O.
