Northern Securities is pleased to welcome Kevin Duggan, David Smith, Jim Lucyk, Rick Shibley and Geoff Taylor to its Private Client group. Kevin Duggan Kevin Duggan started in the securities business in 1993 with a boutique investment firm in Vancouver. Mr. Duggan is joining Northern Securities in its Vancouver office. David Smith David Smith has over 20 years experience in the securities industry as an investment advisor. Most recently, Mr. Smith was an investment advisor at Canada's largest non-bank owned firm in Kelowna, British Columbia. Mr. Smith is based in Kelowna. Jim Lucyk Jim Lucyk holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Alberta and is a member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Alberta. Mr. Lucyk brings with him over 20 years of experience as an investment advisor and senior manager with several national securities firms. Mr. Lucyk is based in Calgary. Geoff Taylor Geoff Taylor has over 16 years of securities industry experience including, retail sales, debt securitization and regulatory compliance. Mr. Taylor was most recently with the private client group of a bank-owned investment dealer. He has his Chartered Financial Analyst designation and also holds his Chartered Investment Management designation and joins the Private Client Group as portfolio management analyst. Mr. Taylor is based in Toronto. Rick Shibley Rick Shibley has been employed as an equity trader since 1993. He has worked for various independent boutique firms and a bank-owned investment dealer. Mr. Shibley is rejoining Northern Securities in the Calgary office after spending the past 18 months at another boutique firm.
