Shorts gone

The short interest position has all but disappeared.

It peaked on January 17th with 1.218 million shares and a 36:5 short interest ratio.

The November,December and January heavy short position is gone.

Today there are a mere 4,500 shares short:

Jan 01/17/11 7.20 1.22 M
Jan 01/04/11 3.20 899,000.00
Dec 12/16/10 0.80 284,000.00


Current Short Interest Shares 4,500.00
Current Short Interest Ratio 0.00

Not a good sign...now there will be no one to buy this stock in a short covery rally if the pog goes up or if we ever get our permits. Without promotion and marketing we're stuck in this trading range. Stockhouse Banner ads work... This say's it all Current Interest Ratio 0.00

Maybe look at the chart,AG,before posting negative whatever BZA fluff that swirls  around  and into your mind.When the shorts piled on Dec.16th (based upon cease trade and 43-101revision,no doubt)    they drove the price down to the 2011 lows at .32The low of the year in BZA was Jan 21- the shorts were exiting their  BZA position  January 17th.Stockhouse Banner ...more

"if we ever get permits"Waiting is not fun to do but the likelihood of getting permits within 2 or 3 months seems to be 99% or better.A big mistake made by companies is not to allow sufficient cushion for inevitable delays whenever there are many steps.    I feel optimistic that permits will be issued before the end of May and probably sooner

TheCardinal.Apologies.  There is only one permit outstanding.   I own a lot of BZA shares and I am optimistic.  The point is that for the past year (at least) nothing has happened in the way management predicted.  The mining date has gone from 2010 to Q1 2011 to Q2 to H2 so far.  The final permit was expected in March 2011 and there is no sign of it.  Investors ...more
