Advanced Explorations Inc. > Is 500 MT of iron ore a real issue??

Is 500 MT of iron ore a real issue??

Why is AXI developing a potential mine with 500 million tons iron ore an issue.....when Consolidated Thompson [CLM] entered into their construction phase with only 578 million tons, but eventually grew to 826 million tons at time of initial production??

Why is AXI expected to prove billions of tons of iron ore......when CLM was allowed to focus on their initial mine operation with under 1 billion tons??

Why is AXI's Roche Bay grade of 26% Fe an issue......when CLM was bought out for $4.9 billion with a grade of 29.35%??

Why is AXI expected to use a cut-off grade of 25%.......when CLM was using a 15% cut-off??

Why is AXI's "contained" iron ore resource of 130 million tons an issue.......when CLM was able to prove a 41 year mine life with only 242 million tons of "contained" iron ore??

Why is AXI's proposed 67% concentrate production an issue........when CLM was and continues to produce a 66% concentrate, from a grade below 30%??

Why is AXI expected to fail due to northern climates........when Baffinland Iron is expected to start their construction phase next year futher north??

Why is AXI expected to fail with zero rail requirements........when CLM and Baffinland both have 150 - 400 kms of land shipping, before arriving at sea??

Why should AXI compare themselves with other Canadian iron ore Juniors without Feasibility Studies, or without take-off agreements, or without secured construction financing, or without enviormental studies and permitting??

"Why should AXI compare themselves with other Canadian iron ore Juniors without Feasibility Studies, or without take-off agreements, or without secured construction financing, or without enviormental studies and permitting?" Answer: AXI does not, in fact, have an off-take agreement, secured construction financing, or a completed definitive feasibility study, and they have not ...more

Great post Murray as always...funny how it really irritates certain individuals and they are quick to react...imagine if they were really interested in the stock what they would be posting...

To continue my thought from my earlier post.....   True value for shareholders is generated through "cash flow". To generate cash flow, you must bring your project to a production stage. In order to achieve this, you must pass through the Feasibility Stage.....not a Preliminary Economic Study or a Pre-Feasibility Study......but a Definitive Feasibility Study [DFS]. And then, it must ...more

Gag's answer:Answer: AXI does not, in fact, have an off-take agreement, Note the following: And we all know that with the JV signing, Xinxing Pipes is entitled to 50% of the off-take at RB TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 2, 2011) - Advanced Explorations Inc. (the "Company" or "AEI") (TSX VENTURE:AXI - News; FRANKFURT:AE6 - News) is pleased to announce that it has ...more

You write as if AXI has infrastructure! They do not. 1) An natural deep water harbor does not equal a port. A port big enough to handle massive ore carriers is going to cost $250 million. Or at least that's what it would cost in Quebec. In Nunavut, where construction/operating costs are 4X to 10X higher (as per Gingerich's testimony to Parliament) that port alone will cost $1 billion. ...more

Murray Mac,  In regards to your comment of AXI being the most advanced explorer, I would love to hear how you come up with that ? Please explain to me in what way AXI is more advanced then NML.   I can't wait to hear this !

I wouldn't bother Green there is a lot of ignorance on this board in regards to the Labrador Trough.  I have spent a lot of  time studying nml, chm, adi, adv, als, fer, feo, cev, axi, znr, lim and bfd and I would have to say I would rank axi in the bottom third.  Maybe they might move up one day, but as of now there is much better opportunity elsewhere.
