Deceptive

AXI does not have a Chinese partner. It's fundamentally deceptive to talk about having an Asian partner when you don't have a signed partnership/JV deal. A framework deal = a commitment by XinXing and AXI to negotiate towards a partnership. This negotiation has obviously not been going well, almost 19 months and no deal.

Months ago many of you told me AXI's deal with XinXing was done. All of you were wrong. I don't blame you for your misunderstanding, I blame John Gingerich for constantly trumpeting a partnership ("Fully Carried to Production") when a legally binding deal had not been agreed to. You got fooled by Gingerich's spin and you should be angry about it. He's lost you a lot of money by not being honest.

*

It's also fundamentally deceptive that AXI doesn't publish its current cash position, or at least the cash position of its last quarterly financial statement from September, $3.2 million.

Why does AXI's presentation and factsheet trumpet its $8.3 million in cash, when that was its cash position from June? It's almost February! Why isn't the September financial statement available on AXI's website? Why is John Gingerich telling investors that AXI has a comfortable $15 million in the bank, when they likely have zero?

*

I'll ask again: how many other companies in your investment portfolio are currently dead broke?

Funny how one year ago, someone on this board was proclaiming that ADV would have no problems finding a Chinese partner...such a great project would attract only the best...we now sit here about one year later and ADV still has no partner.  I mean we all know that the Chinese process works incredibly fast and things should really get done in a very quick manner...what could possibly be the ...more

XinXing, just like Shandong Fulun Steel, is a large, or "strategic," investor in AXI. They've invested $5.3 million in the company and are trying to invest $5 million more via debenture. Strategic investor is the proper term. Partnership implies legal responsibilities, i.e. XinXing required to fully carrying AXI to production at Roche Bay, according to the terms of a ...more

Frankly GAG, use whatever terms you want and think what you want...if your CEO could do a deal today, then he should hurry up and do it..I mean China is so big and there are so many potential "STRATEGIC PARTNERS" that they should be knocking down the door of the Chairman...Xinxing have stated very clearly that they intend to provide all of the financing for this project and in turn they ...more

Was Adriana's July 2009 MOU with WISCO? The press release does not name the steelmaker and the MOU also seemed to involve Adriana's prospective Brazilian seaport, quite a different deal from the one ADI and WISCO eventually signed. Do you have evidence that this unnamed steelmaker is WISCO? * Adriana's framework deal with WISCO was announced in January 17, 2011. A joint venture ...more

AXI does not have a partner because XinXing has agreed to nothing, except that it will in good faith negotiate a joint venture deal with AXI. That's what a framework agreement is, a framework for negotiation. And negotiation is all that's been going on for the last 16 months. No deal has been signed. There's no offtake agreement, there's no 50 ...more

Do not try to conveniently ignore the July 2009 date...although the press release from the company does not mention WISCO, you would have to assume that it is them (press release references major steel company)  Even if it was not, are you making the assumption that WISCO signed a framework agreement without going through the MOU process  first.  Well obviousely they did since they ...more

Sorry, I'm wrong, AXI does have a joint venture deal and a partner: Roche Bay plc, which currently owns 50.1% stakes in both the Roche Bay and the Tuktu properties, and is owed royalties, minimum annual rent payments, and fidiuciary duties. If any payments are in default, Roche Bay plc has the right to take over as operator of the properties and pursue damages. * Come to think of it, this ...more

On the partnership ----agree to disagree. The difference between you and me GAG, is that I don't have any investment in ADV and I don't waste my time on the ADV board spewing off a bunch of crap about the company.  I have my reasons why I'm not invested in the company and it ends there.  For those invested in the stock, I wish them luck...
