Ahhh, those "underground" mines are tricky, even in the best of circumstances.

 

That's a lot of work and a lot of money, just to extract 9 million onces of gold. Truly, the money lenders are looking for the open pits. But they gave it a good go!

 

My dear fellow shareholders, if you ever have a moment......ask G&G about his excitement over a Nunavut gold prospect that his precious ALS was involved in. Nunavut is a great place to explore and mine, when it suits his needs. And if you do in fact garner his attention, ask him about his sure bet in RAM Power.

 

But the guy is only human and fallible like the rest of us.

Altius has already written off its Wager Bay, Nunavut project, such is the life of the prospect generator. Spent $400K on prospecting and got nothing. It happens a lot with companies that venture into Nunavut. But better squandering $400K than $50 million. * That 2009 agreement with Roche Bay plc is one of the worst agreements I've ever seen for a junior explorer. A guaranteed $1 million ...more

One of the major hurdles that the Nunavut mining industry has to face is that "Going to meetings" is an indusrty in it's self. You would be amazed at the amount of Honourarium, per dieum etc, that committee members recieve to attend such meetings on behalf of water boards, enviormental impact, royalties etc. What they  should have is a "one stop shop" and cut out all ...more
