Curious...

Just had a look around the rest of the Canadian Iron Ore development sector...  Anyone know why this particular stock is tanking?   Just curious.

Hello B-Diddy.  You have every right to ask that question.  I would say that the last few days this stock has been tanking...but what you have to do is take a look at a longer time frame then just a couple of days to understand what has been going on in the sector.  I will get back to you on this.

Getting back to your question B-Diddy: ; Yes AXI has  been under pressure the last week or so and has slipped back.  Unfortunately when there is no news to report, retail investors become impatient and sell out. News will come..You cannot just look a   couple of days here and there. If you take a look at many of the iron ore players over the last 3 months, you'll see that ...more

But look at what those other companies have been doing the last couple of months: 1) LIM just closed a $71.6 million financing and they've got a producing project; 2) ADI closed $91 million from WISCO; 3) NML has over $100 million in cash and a project coming online at the end of the year; 4) Champion just raised $30 million; 4) ADV just closed $40 million from a private equity fund, and ...more

All of the companies mentioned in comparison to AXI (LIM, ADI, NML, CHM, ADV, FEO) have released their financial statements for the quarter ended December 31, 2011. AXI has not, of course. Anything to hide? We shall see.

Hey, thanks for your views. I know the sector quite well, so your 3-month and 1-year assessments are about right for most players, however in the last 2 weeks AXI has lost approx 30%, while most of it's peers have only dropped 5% (a few as low as 10% and some with no drop at all) in that same timeframe. So I was just wondering why the market was so shaky on this one player? All ...more

This Board has been plagued by one individual who continually distorts facts and works to undermine the value of the stock. He posts under some of the following: 1. Greenandgold, plus a number of other green and whatever 2. Hundredvanities 3. Money444 Unfortunately, Stockhouse does not apply any restrictions other than the use of inappropriate language. I am sure new readers to this likely take ...more

Exactly my point.  There are times when certain stocks will get beaten up and others will not.  For the last few weeks AXI has been under pressure and having no news out doesn't help.  So when you look at the last 3 months, the majority of the loss for AXI has come in the last few weeks.

I am not greenandgold...I just believe what he believes.  AXI's properties will never get developed, especially under this putrid management.
