Assessment

There have not been any recent questions about ALARIS. Are you still in favor of this small cap financial company?

For higher-risk income, yes. It is not perfect, and is fairly small, but it is priced well and has some growth potential over time. The last quarter was decent and the payout ratio is a reasonable 65%. At 7X earnings it looks decent for income. (5iResearch)

I've been in this for a couple years, sold most in the High $17's bought back $14.25, the Divy is nice every Quarter, I will likely sell again aftwr earnings if we get to 18-19 and wait for a nice pullback again

Not a bad plan.  He one thing that has me a little iffy here is during last quarter's conference call Steve mentioned the possibility of some redemptions coming up.  These aren't a bad thing and it's the way the business is supposed to work, but in the past the stock has often gone into full blown panic selloff mode when these are announced.  Hopefully that won't ...more
