AD Thoughts

Hi all - I have owned the stock on and off for many years. Recently, I have been focusing on purchasing a home and not in the markets but I have continued to watch AD's story. IMO the company seems to be in a much better position than 3 months ago... yet the price action does not represent that.... This could be a nice turnaround story but I am thinking we are going to need another record year of capital deployment to fully fund the dividend, with no other partner issues, and some of the problematic ones on the path to rectification. I am tempted to take a position here as there is no question it is an attractive entry point.

Why do you think the dividend is not fully funded?

How you doing CrAyZe ?  Buying a home at a time when the real estate market is in decline (with good reason) vs buying AD at these lows (trading so cheap it is hard to figure out) ;-)  Good luck for the home purchase.  For good or bad - AD is now my largest position with around 13,000 shares.  DIV is second The market can be cruel but that brings along opportunities ...more

I think you will do very well. All we need is some positive news for this to move back to $20. I see that coming sooner rather than later. This is awfully overblown at this point.  I hope everyone hangs ...more

I don't think we even need good news for this to turn around. I think it's trading down simply because of the trend and eventually the trend will reverse and this should move back up. Hard to time a bottom, but I can't see it that much lower than where it is right now, considering a close to 10% safe payout with likely growing earnings for the year. At a PE of 10, which is pretty low, ...more

Welcome aboard CrAyZe to the short term pain and suffering forum.  I don't mind the $1700+ monthly dividends. No margin so no need to sell in a hurry.  Looking at PLC after the drop today (on results). Had sold 2000 at $26.10 (went close to $27 after the sell). GLTA
