Those results in turn cause the market to take notice and react accordingly. The 40-month slide down the razor blade clearly indicates inability to deliver results consistent with supporting share price. The economy is supposed to be booming and this thing keeps on sliding. What does that portend for the next downturn. It's time for another strategy.

Yeah I mean the current strategy of investing in companies and getting back a 20%+ yearly return on exit is so bad...  You need to get over the fact that the shares at some point were clearly overvalued by investors. Now it's the other way, they're clearly undervalued. I've been an "insider" in the past for a public traded corp and truly the movement of the stock ...more

Excellent post by Capharnaum. Thanks!  People misunderstand that this company can afford to have some files go wrong, given the overall returns. This is private equity. It is a good investment alternative, so long as you ignore the share price until it goes back up. WC

If you you think the share price is ALWAYS indicative and reflective of how the company is performing then I have a bridge to sell in Brooklyn for you. if you don't like management sell the shares or short them.
