I agree. Happy to pick up some more as it looks like they just went on sale. Regarding the potential problems at Providence as the cause of the decline, I think the sale is an overreaction. Some old shareholders had thier finger on the eject button with the impairments of the (fairly) recent past, so it's possible they have had enough and want out. I see it differently. Unfortunately, a new problem file (for cash distributions) combined with the under >1 coverage from a couple of investments will probably send back Alaris to the penalty box. I think they'll come through but share price could suffer from this and go back to the 15s. In the Q4 CC, they said they knew that Providence had lost their biggest customer but it was planned that way (downplayed it) ...more

Nothing to be bummed about if you're an investor (as opposed to a trader). Problem is small, so may not have thought enough of it to report. AD is a dividend generator for me, so I don't focus too much on the stock price. If you invest in AD and hold, then you are essentially betting on Steve King's team on picking small private businesses to support. Invariably with smaller companies, ...more

I totally agree. This is very unscrupulous behavior on behalf on this bs mgmt team again. Quite the contrary to this "news", in their Q4 presetation AD has shown Providence as over 2x coverage and lumped it in the greenest of the green best covered partners bucket. If AD mgmt dares to pull off such a blatant shuffle, no wonder that they will be put in penalty box again. And, as repeat ...more
