The Great Wendy's Parable

I ordered fast food for the first time in a longtime the other day. The people working forgot one of the combos and it ended up costing me like $14, but we were able to make do, and we love Wendy’s so it wasn’t so bad.

The worst part about all of it is that now there are 2 or 3 random people that keep following me and heckling me about overpaying, and shout random nutritional facts out as if to sway me from going to Wendy’s again. It’s like… Buddy, I realize it’s not healthy food, I made my choice well knowing that.

It’s really weird, it’s like they just can’t get over it and keep following me repeating it as though somehow it’s going to change something. Fact of the matter is they dont know if I was missing and order, or if I was given a free one, they just keep shouting these things.

What’s even crazier is that they change little things here and there and try to make the whole situation seem worse, as though to get my friends and family on their side. And the weirdest thing is, they pretend to be entirely unbiased about the whole matter.

It’s super strange. I don’t really understand why they’re doing it.

Keep in mind, they’re entirely unbiased.

How did it make "zero sense". I bought something well knowing the risks.
