Fintwit sentiment towards Aphria is looking much more positive versus last week.
While my above post that I made on Dec 23rd may have had a childish tone to it was because I was excited to see that a short squeeeze coming to fruition. When I posted the above on Dec 23rd BudFoxx replied attacking me calling me a moron, kid, idiot and I know absolutely nothing and no way in hell a short squeeze was coming. Budfoxx was DEAD WRONG.
The reality is that I called the short squeeeze 6 trading days before it went into FULL AFFECT. The only reason why it took 6 days from there was the following 5 trading days was the Holiday Season which is traditionally a lower voilume week for the entire stock exchange.
What did I do through the 5-day holiday season lull ??? I took that 5 day window as my opportunity to reload the Calls I sold the day the APHA/TLRY merger was announced where short sellers had taken control as the market digested the news.
On Dec 31st THE VERY LAST DAY before the squeeeeeeze went into full affect I posted the below advising how I re-positioned my Calls. For anyone that was bold enough to take that trade made a $hit tonne of money.
Isn't that what the stock market is really about? That round of Calls went from $155 per contract and peaked just over $2800 a contract IN LESS THAN 30 TRADING DAYS. You do the math of what you could have made. Whether you went in size or not the ROI was slaying it !!
